The John Ford Mixing Stage

The John Ford Mixing Stage is one of the two flagship mixing stages within The Sound Department facility, designed to provide an exceptional environment for high-end theatrical sound mixing and audio post-production. Mirroring the scale and capabilities of its companion stage, the Howard Hawks Mixing Stage, the John Ford Mixing Stage offers a spacious, comfortable, and technologically advanced setting for projects of every size.

The stage features a powerful NEVE mixing console that serves as the centerpiece of the room, delivering the precision, flexibility, and sonic excellence required for today's most demanding productions. Its expansive footprint allows creative teams, filmmakers, producers, and studio personnel to work together comfortably throughout the mixing process.

A private producer's office provides a dedicated workspace for clients, while the lounge area in front of the stage offers comfortable seating, a pool table, and plenty of room to relax during extended sessions. The thoughtfully designed space ensures that both productivity and comfort remain priorities throughout the project.
Built to support feature films, television productions, streaming content, and other large-format projects, the John Ford Mixing Stage is ideally suited for mixes intended for theatrical exhibition and premium viewing environments. Every session is supported by our experienced and highly talented sound engineers, who are committed to delivering outstanding results.
